How Your Personal Information Is Used
a. Member Registration and Profile
CanadianHotels.ca uses Personal Information for the purpose of providing services to members. When you become a CanadianHotels.ca member you will be asked to provide Personal Information to complete your member profile. This information is stored by CanadianHotels.ca to assist members in making reservations quickly without having to type in the same information repeatedly.
b. Reservation Orders
To book reservations through the Website, we require Personal Information to complete your transaction. If you are already a member, most of this information is already provided by your member profile. If you are not a member, we will require you to submit this information to fulfill your travel requests. . This information includes but is not limited to your name, home or work telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and your credit card number, expiration date and billing address.
We may also ask you for Personal Information about other people for whom you are booking reservations. We use this information only to complete your reservation, and, upon request, to send each person an e-mail notification of the reservation.
c. Communications from the Website
Members will occasionally be contacted by email or fax to receive helpful information on products, services, and special deals. Users may also subscribe to specific services or announcements such as our newsletter, surveys or contests by providing the requested information. These types of subscriptions are completely voluntary. Users' Personal Information is not shared with third parties unless prior notice is given. We may use an intermediary to conduct the surveys or contests but they may not use Personal Information for any secondary purposes and all information is returned to CanadianHotels.ca upon completion of the event.
